Actor Ryan Thomas has shared an adorable post to celebrate his engagement to Lucy Mecklenburgh.
The former Coronation Street star shared a loved-up picture and proudly announced Lucy as his “fiancée” for the first time.
They were pictured hugging in front of a beautiful Italian sunset, and Ryan captioned the photo with: “Me & my fiancée.”
Lucy, 28, was beaming as she sat on 35-year-old Ryan’s lap and leaned towards him in the gorgeous snap.
Ryan was clearly feeling sentimental after the pair got engaged in Italian hotspot Positano over the weekend.
Their famous pals loved Ryan’s sweet post.
His former Corrie co-star Richard Fleeshman commented: “Gorgeous.”
Love Island’s Montana Brown wrote: “So happy for you two 😍😍.”
Meanwhile, Ryan’s brother Adam cheekily joked: “Fiancée??? Omg she’s my celeb crush you’re so lucky !!!”
Amused, Lucy then replied with: “@adamthomas21 🤣🤣🤣.”
Ryan added: “@adamthomas21 go to bed adam 😜.”
Ryan and Lucy celebrated their engagement with a meal at a secluded restaurant set in the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast.
Ryan posted a clip of their romantic lunch location and revealed: “A hidden gem in the rocks.”

Former TOWIE star Lucy also revealed the surprise boat trip Ryan had organised for her.
“I’m in heaven, we have this all day,” she gushed.
Ryan popped the question to an unsuspecting Lucy in a romantic setting in beautiful Italian hotspot Positano.
He got down on one knee over a private dinner at Villa Treville.
Lucy confirmed the exciting news by posting a picture of them kissing moments after the proposal.
She captioned it with: “I said YES 💍❤️ @ryanthomas84.”

The couple have been dating since 2017. In August last year they revealed their plans to tie the knot and they said it would be a big wedding.
Ryan told OK! Magazine: “We’ll have a massive wedding. It would be huge and one big party. It would be bigger than my brother Adam’s!”
