Ryan Thomas has opened up about plans to marry and start a family with girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh.
The former Coronation Street actor, 34, was crowned winner of Celebrity Big Brother on Monday night and reunited with Lucy after more than three weeks away from each other.
After reflecting on his experience in the house, Ryan discussed his relationship with former TOWIE star Lucy saying she is someone he wants in his life "for a very long time".
In an interview with The Sun, he said: "Lucy is someone I want in my life for a very long time. Marriage and babies... just taking it one day at a time."
After being away from Lucy and his family for nearly one month, Ryan added: "It's been a privilege to come out and see my brothers and Lucy, they are my world.
"I've just turned my phone on this morning and there has been an overload of love and support."
He also reflected on his Big Brother experience calling it "the hardest experience of my life".
Ryan took to Instagram on Tuesday to share an intimate photo of himself and Lucy as they reunited following his stint on the reality show.
The snap sees Lucy, 27, kissing him as they enjoyed a brief moment of peace amid the chaos of the Big Brother finale.
Lucy is someone I want in my life for a very long time.
He simply captioned the post: "HER," followed by a love heart emoji.
Ahead of Ryan leaving the Big Brother house, Lucy told OK! magazine: "I can't wait to give him a big squeeze and a kiss. I'll probably burst into tears.
"I'm planning a welcome home party at my house. I'm inviting all his friends round and I'm going to decorate it with balloons and banners."
She was also asked about whether she'd tie the knot with Ryan in the future, to which she replied: "I love him to bits but I don't know what the future holds! Let's not forget Ryan is the one who has to propose!"
After Ryan was announced winner of the show on Monday night, Lucy took to Twitter to gush over her beau.
She said: "Your winner. Thank you all so much for supporting Ryan till the end."
Ryan had a tough time in the house after he was accused of 'punching' fellow housemate Roxanne Pallett during what appeared to be a play fight.
During his finale interview with Emma Willis, Ryan said he'll forgive Roxanne if that's what she needs to feel better.
When Emma asked if he could forgive Roxanne, he said: "If she wants forgiveness and it makes her feel better, then I would rather give her that because I think she's been punished enough by the public and the people around her."
Speaking about the incident, Ryan admitted he believed he "would be getting a call from police" after Roxanne's allegation.
He said: "I was a scared little boy. We all know how something like that can stick on a man, sometimes it can be done in the right way but this was done in the wrong way.
"I was glad we had 24-hour surveillance on us as the point was proven."
