Former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas has shared a clip of the heartwarming moment his daughter found out she was going to be a big sister.
The actor, 35, shared a video of 10-year-old Scarlett bursting into “happy tears” as she finds out she’s getting a little half-sibling.
Ryan posted the sweet clip for his 969k Instagram followers and tagged his fiancée, TOWIE‘s Lucy Mecklenburgh, writing alongside a heart emoji: “…when Scarlett found out she was going to have a little brother or sister.”

In the video, Ryan and Lucy stand posing for a photo with members of their family, before someone brings out a box and places it in front of group.
Ryan encourages Scarlett to open the box and when she does, a helium balloon floats out – printed with a message to reveal their baby news.
He then tells Scarlett to read the words and as the realisation dawns, everyone cheers and Scarlett covers her face as she bursts into tears.
Ryan puts his arm around her to ask, “Happy tears?” and she nods, wiping her face and beaming.
Scarlett, who turns 11 in October, is from Ryan’s relationship with ex Tina O’Brien.

Lucy confirmed she is expecting her first child with Ryan on Saturday (24.08.19), posting a snap on Instagram to reveal the news.
She shared a photo of the two of them opening a box that contained a tiny white babygrow and wrote: “Best birthday present I’ve ever had. Love you @ryanthomas84.”
Lucy turned 28 this weekend but kicked off her celebrations on Friday night, when she marked the occasion with Ryan at exclusive London restaurant Sushi Samba.
The former TOWIE star wore a pretty nude-coloured dress for her dinner and cuddled up to Ryan while posing for an Instagram photo.

Lucy and Ryan announced their engagement in June with a very romantic pic of themselves sharing a kiss on Lucy’s Instagram. She captioned it simply: “I said YES.”
