Former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas and fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh have revealed the gender of the baby they are expecting together.
The couple are currently on a babymoon in the Algarve and have been sharing numerous pictures and videos from their loved-up trip to Instagram Stories.
But Ryan’s latest snap has revealed they are expecting a baby boy!

Both are wearing blue swimwear and Ryan’s caption says: “Blue is for….?” followed by a baby with a blue dummy and a blue heart emoji.
Fans rushed to offer their congratulations on the news, with many claiming they’d guessed it would be a boy.
Lucy shared a video to her Instagram page showing the moment they opened the results and discovered it was a boy.
As she told Ryan they were having a son, he punched the air with delight, squealing: “It’s a boy!”
Lucy added she knew it was a boy and wrote in the caption she’d had a feeling from the moment she found out she was pregnant.
The couple announced their pregnancy news last month with Lucy posting to Instagram that it was the “best birthday present” she’s ever had.
But although they had found out the baby’s gender, they had originally decided not to make the news public.
Though reports earlier this month suggested Ryan was having second thoughts about that.
Bantering with fans over social media Ryan replied via Instagram Stories: “I don’t know I just want to tell everyone @lucymeck1 keeps stopping me! Can I just tell them please?”
And now it seems she’s let him tell the world!
It’s the couple’s first child together, but Ryan already has daughter Scarlett with ex-girlfriend Tina O’Brien.
He recently shared a clip of the heartwarming moment his daughter found out she was going to be a big sister.

In the video, Ryan and Lucy stand posing for a photo with members of their family, before someone brings out a box and places it in front of group.
Ryan encourages Scarlett to open the box and when she does, a helium balloon floats out – printed with a message to reveal their baby news.
He then tells Scarlett to read the words and as the realisation dawns, everyone cheers and Scarlett covers her face as she bursts into tears.
Ryan puts his arm around her to ask, “Happy tears?” and she nods, wiping her face and beaming.
Lucy and Ryan announced their engagement in June with a very romantic pic of themselves sharing a kiss on Lucy’s Instagram. She captioned it simply: “I said YES.”
