Rosie O’Donnell’s estranged daughter Chelsea hospitalized after drug overdose

But did her famous mum rush to her side?

Rosie O’Donnell‘s troubled daughter Chelsea has been hospitalized after suffering a drug overdose.

An insider told RadarOnline.com the teen was in the ER in Long Island late Monday night, September 5.

But the source said as of that time, her TV star mother had not yet rushed to her side.

Rosie’s rep told Radar she is “not commenting.”

Sadly this is the latest development in the tumultuous relationship between Rosie, 54 and her adopted daughter.

Family drama was first thrust into the spotlight last August, when Chelsea disappeared from Rosie’s Nyack, NY, home for two weeks.

She was later found with a drug dealer she met on Tinder, Steven M. Sheerer.

Sheerer was later charged with endangering the welfare of a child because Chelsea was only 17 at the time of the incident .

Shortly after, Rosie released a statement saying Chelsea ran away, but the adopted teen claimed she was thrown out.

Then last October, Chelsea detailed her troubled relationship with her mum in an interview.

“I find her not genuine a lot of the time. When we’d go out, she was a completely different person in public than at home and I had a hard time with that,” she said, alleging she’s closer to her former nannies than she is to her adoptive mother.

Rosie later called Chelsea’s hard-hitting interview “heartbreaking on every level.”

But just a few weeks ago, it seemed their relationship could be on the mend when Rosie posted a photo with her
estranged daughter on her 19th birthday.

In the picture, a selfie, Chelsea was seen smiling brightly, despite their rocky history.

“Chelsea and me — what a difference a year makes #hopelives,” the comedian said of the photo at the time.

Rosie and ex-wife Kelli Carpenter have four children together.

They adopted Parker, Chelsea and Blake Christopher O’Donnell (and Vivienne to Carpenter in 2002 through artificial insemination.

Rosie also has anther adopted daughter Dakota with her second ex-wife Michelle Rounds, who she divorced in 2015.
