Rita Ora narrowly escapes getting caught up in drive by shooting

But was she ever in danger?

Rita Ora was caught up in a drive-by gun drama in swanky west London.

The singer, actress and presenter had been sunning herself in Notting Hill when gunfire broke out.

But don’t worry too much about Rita’s well-being – she was well out of the area when the incident took place.

According to reports, the Fifty Shades bit part actress was hanging with pals NEAR to Colville Gardens in the Notting Hill area of London.

Five minutes after she had left, gun fire was heard on the street itself and authorities were called and armed officers descended on the area.

Police later confirmed that officers from the Trident and Command Area Crime Command were investigating what had happened.

But was Rita actually have been caught up in the cross fire? Or is it all spin?

Yes, she was in pictured in the area hanging out wearing black leggings with mates including model pal Alice Dellall after she had attended a nearby fitness centre.

But she wasn’t on the street where the incident took place and it is suggested that she had left the area before the incident took place.

So it would seem that Rita was never in danger. Oh!

A police spokesman said: “On Wednesday, 15 March police were called shortly after 14:00hrs to a report of shots fired in Colville Gardens, W11.

“Local officers attended along with firearms officers and found no injured persons. There was evidence that a firearm had been discharged.

“A crime scene is currently in place and officers remain on scene. There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.

“Detectives from the Trident and Command Area Crime Command are investigating.”
