Retired footballer Rio Ferdinand has shown he’s good for more than kicking a ball around – turns out he can step in as hairdresser if needed!
Rio’s girlfriend, ex TOWIE star Kate Wright, posted a photo to Instagram showing him helping do her hair after Kate broke her arm.

The image shows Kate sitting in front of a mirror at a vanity unit, her arm in a cast, while Rio stands behind her brushing her hair into a ponytail.
It was captioned: “Life 😫🙏🏻🤦🏼♀️…. Rio coming for the glam squads jobs 😂👀.”
The couple’s fans were quick to comment on the adorable photo, calling it “relationship goals.”
“You are such a sweet couple and so well suited,” one fan commented.
“Aww that is lovely what a good man u have,” said another.
Another fan said “Honestly you too are killing me 😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ #relationshipgoals Rio, this is what A real MAN looks like, you fill my heart with such joy.”
The ex-footballer might have to get used to doing poor Kate’s hair – she could have her arm in her cast for a while.
An accident saw the former reality star break two bones and dislocate her wrist.
She posted a photo from her bed last week, sharing her injuries with fans and joking that she needed help.
The image showed her arm in a cast as she lay in bed with her dog, Ronnie, for company. She included an animated flag that read “get help.”
But it looks like Kate’s also getting support from the rest of the family – Rio’s children seem to have made her an enormous get well soon card.

She posted a video of the card to Instagram Stories – panning along the full length of the colourful card.
Kate has taken on a stepmother role to Rio’s three children – Lorenz, 12, Tate, 10, and seven-year-old Tia – with his late wife Rebecca.
