They say you know a relationship is the real thing and for keeps when you’re comfortable enough to break wind in front of each other.
So perhaps Rio Ferdinand was testing the waters to see just how committed new love Kate Wright was this morning…
The loved up pair were indulging in a spot of early morning training, and it was all very serious indeed; the correct clothes, the right posture for lifting some scary looking weights, and lots of words of encouragement from a personal trainer.

All very much the couple that train together, stay together (or at least can veg out and eat all the Quality Street on the sofa over Xmas without being overly concerned about the extra cals).
Rio, though, decided to put Kate’s devotion to the test – and share a video of his hilariously cruel stunt on Instagram.
As their PT put them through their paces, Rio, whose well-honed backside was just metres from Kate’s face as they did their lifts, decided to fake letting rip.
And very convincing it was too.

Kate’s face and reaction suggests she thought Rio had parped for real, leaving her in a state of hysterics and having to down her weights.
Rio had in fact just blown a raspberry for his new love’s amusement.
And he seemed pretty amused by it himself too – so much so, he had to leave the room and go outside and compose himself.
Once out in the fresh air, Rio’s legs could be seen buckling with mirth as he succumbed to a fit of the giggles, while Kate called him an expletive and their trainer roared with laughter.
And how lovely is it to see the pair so happy together after what has been a traumatic few years for Rio and his young family?
The 39-year-old footballer lost his wife Rebecca Ellison in 2015. She was just 34 and had been suffering from breast cancer. The couple had three young children together.
Rio endured further heartbreak in July this year, when his 58-year-old mum, Janice St Fort, passed away, also from breast cancer.
Kate and Rio have largely kept their relationship under wraps, but made their first red carpet appearance together earlier this month, as he launched his clothing collection with Sports Direct.
The pair are thought to have been dating since February, and although Rio has shared pictures of them together on social media, he only confirmed that he was seeing someone during an appearance on ITV’s This Morning in October.
The interview was reportedly the first time he had been seen in public without his wedding ring since Rebecca’s death.
He told Holly and Phillip that he was “in a relationship” and that it was “going well”, adding: “My kids deserve to be happy.”
