Peter Andre has promised fans he’s got BIG plans for the upcoming year – which involve America!
Now, we all know many British celebrities have tried and failed to crack the lucrative US market… but that hasn’t put Pete, 44, off trying!
As well as having TWO movies in the pipeline, the Mysterious Girl singer has also teased a top secret new project later this month.
In his latest column for New! magazine, he said: “I always know it’s going to be a great year for me work-wise when January is booked up with lots of exciting things.
“I’m working on a new project that I can’t wait to tell you about, so I might be flying out to the States later this month.
“I’m also hoping to fly over to LA to finally meet with the producers of the US films I have roles in.”
Peter’s keeping tight-lipped for now on just what his first mystery meeting in the US could be about; we wonder if he’s following in Mark Wright’s footsteps and launching a bid to become a US TV presenter?!
Former TOWIE star Mark, 30, has successfully made the transition from UK celeb to US fame.
He landed a showbiz correspondent role on US TV show Extra last year, working alongside Saved By The Bell’s Mario Lopez and being beamed into millions of homes across America daily.
Or is Peter recording new music over in the US?
After all, he did fly to Los Angeles to record tracks for his album, Revelation, in 2009. He famously relocated to Malibu with then-wife Katie Price to work on the comeback album.
One project we DO know Pete is working on this year is his debut role in a Hollywood thriller movie called The Undoing.
At the time, he told fans: “Finally. I’ve received (after months of talks) my first ever film script. Start filming in LA next year, and… it’s a big part…. wahoo! I’ve only waited 44 years.”
He later added to Australia’s Daily Telegraph: “I feel very lucky. They’ve sent me the rough draft and they’ve given me a really good part.
“That is like the ultimate dream, that is the big one, so I just hope I can do it well.
“So the fact they sent the script to me, it doesn’t matter what happens now.”
Good luck, Pete!
