Scarlett Moffatt reveals she’s “got her confidence back” after ditching shorter hair

She's back to her old self!

| Updated:

You may recall that Scarlett Moffatt had her lovely flowing locks chopped off last year.

When the former I’m A Celebrity winner showcased the look on social media at the time, she didn’t seem too sure about it, revealing that it was an “impulsive” decision.

So it was no surprise when, a couple of weeks back, she decided to try ANOTHER new look – having some hair extensions put in.

And the 27-year-old star took to Instagram today to pass on her gratitude to her hair salon for putting a spring back in her step.

Sharing the same pic she’d uploaded after having her hair done earlier this month, she wrote: “Thank you @longlox_hairextensions for giving me some confidence back.

“After having my hair cut horrendously short, I didn’t feel like me, but thanks to you lovely lot and your many packs of hair, that all changed. Just a little post to say thank you.”

And a number of Scarlett’s 1.7 million Instagram followers gave her the seal of approval.

One fan commented: “You look so different. Didn’t realise it was you lol x Very beautiful x.”

Another gasped: “Wow Scarlett, you look absolutely stunning xx.”

And a third follower agreed: “Hair goals – oh, and colour goal!”

When Scarlett had her hair cut short back in September, she seemed a little hesitant towards the new image.

She told her fans: “Talk about being impulsive. Eeeek shortest hair I’ve ever had! I’ve gone for the bob!”

The TV presenter added that her now ex-boyfriend, hairdresser Luke Crodden, had done the deed after she made the decision late at night.

She explained: “Decided last night at 10pm after a glass of wine and got the boyfriend to cut it for me. #bob #newhair #shorthair.”

Well, by the sound of today’s Instagram post, the new look wasn’t quite right for Scarlett.

And it can’t have helped when earlier this month, when unflattering “body-shaming” pictures were published, prompting her to have a rant on social media.

She wrote on Twitter: “When online papers/magazines try their hardest to use unflattering photos and drag women down, do they realise what they’re doing to people’s mental health?”

It’s great to see her smiling again.
