Read Sophia Bush’s open letter to the ‘creepy’ guy on her plane

Actress blasts stranger for ‘ignoring all visual cues’ to leave her alone

Sophia Bush has taken to Twitter to publicly slam the “random dude” on a recent flight she says made her feel so “uncomfortable” she changed seats to get away from him.

On Saturday the former One Tree Hill actress tweeted a letter she typed out on her iPhone.

It was seemingly to men everywhere but was clearly specifically about her recent experience.

The 34-year-old wrote: “Dear Random Dude on a plane

“When you make a woman so visibly uncomfortable, that after you’ve ignored all visual cues to please leave her alone (one word answers, she pulls out a book, puts on a hat, she actually asks you to not speak to her with the tone and words you’re choosing to use) that she finally GETS UP and MOVE SEATS, leave her alone.

“Do not continue trying to make conversation.”

In the letter the Chicago P.D. star goes on to say that the stranger kept “turning around and looking at her.”

She also blasted him for “leaning out of your seat and towards her body when she has to grab something out of the overhead bin above her original seat, and sadly also above you, mid-flight.”

Bush suggests that her celebrity status only complicated the situation.

She told the man to “stop believing that you are entitled to make me uncomfortable because you ‘watch my TV show’ so I owe you some magical debt.”

She said: “You do not get to harass me, or any woman, because you think you pay our bills. You don’t bro, I DO.”

But it was the way Bush ended the note that was especially refreshing. She wrote: “Signed, Every Woman On The Planet Who Is Sick Of Your Creepy S**t.”
