Gary Barlow has thrilled fans by giving them a rare glimpse at his nine-year-old daughter Daisy – and she’s a chip off the old block!
The musician shared a clip to Instagram showing Daisy has inherited his piano-playing skills.

In the video, the little girl can be seen standing at a white grand piano as she plays the Star Wars theme song.
And, naturally, pianist dad Gary was proud as punch!
He told fans: “We bring up our children not knowing what they’ll become. Then the day arrives when they make you the proudest parents in the world. Just aged nine and she’s already on her way to true greatness.”
Fans were quick to lavish Daisy with praise on her musical skills.
One wrote: “Awwww thats lovely she’s following in your footsteps well done Daisy. You have beautiful talented children.”
Another said: “Lovely. Amazing. Your Daisy is going to be the next Superstar. Happy Easter to you all xxxxx.”
A third added: “So fun. You have every right to be proud…playing the piano and music of choice is Star Wars!”
And a fourth agreed: “Aww that is so sweet, she must get her talent from you Gary. How proud are you feeling right now? Well done Daisy, love that tune, can’t beat Star Wars.”
Gary’s fans are well aware of his love for the Star Wars franchise.
He even filmed a cameo for the most recent movie, The Last Jedi, and lived his childhood dream by posing inside the Millennium Falcon and with R2-D2 and Chewbacca.
Gary shared snaps from the movie set to Instagram in December, explaining they’d been taken quite some time ago but because of strict rules regarding Star Wars’ plots and what happens on set, he couldn’t share them with fans until the film hit cinemas.
He captioned the pictures: “A couple of shots with my ‘co-stars’. These pictures were all taken in 2017 on the set. They won’t release any pictures you’ve had taken until the film is released. This is how they do it in another Galaxy far far away.”
As for what role Gary played, it was initially thought he’d made a cameo as a Stormtrooper, but later emerged that wasn’t the case.
He actually appeared as a Resistance Trooper during the Battle of Crait.

No doubt his kids were suitably impressed! Gary and wife Dawn are also parents to son Daniel, 17, and daughter Emily, 15, although they prefer to keep their kids out of the spotlight.
