Princess Beatrice is engaged to property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Buckingham Palace has announced.

The Duke and Duchess of York posted two official engagement photos to Instagram, revealing the couple became engaged in Italy earlier this month.

The post was captioned: “We are delighted to announce the engagement of Princess Beatrice to Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The Duke and Duchess of York are delighted to announce the engagement of Princess Beatrice to Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The newly-engaged couple said in a statement: “We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement.

Meanwhile, Beatrice’s parents the Duke and Duchess of York said: “We are thrilled that Beatrice and Edoardo have got engaged, having watched their relationship develop with pride.
