We're guessing there were tantrums in the Cambridge household as Prince William and his wife Kate headed out for a date night last night.
The couple enjoyed some time off from parenting duties and headed to the London Palladium to watch the Royal Variety Performance in London.
William and Kate left their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – at home for the night with their nanny.
However, Kate revealed that her eldest children had wanted to attend the show with them.
Speaking to Petula Clark, who is appearing in Mary Poppins: The Musical, Kate revealed that George and Charlotte had been really excited about where their mum and dad were off to.
Not on a school night!
She said they had been excited by the sound of a night of "singing and dancing" before she and William headed out.
They even asked if they could attend the event with their parents.
However, Kate told them: "Not on a school night!"
The doting mum also told the cast of Mary Poppins that George, Charlotte and Louis would "love" to go and see the musical on stage.
William also told Petula: "I love Mary Poppins!"
Kate looked stunning at the event in a bespoke floor-length black lace overlay Alexander McQueen gown.
The royal outing comes just days after the news that Kate is teaming up with baking queen Mary Berry for a festive TV special.
