They celebrated the occasion last month

The Duke of Sussex reportedly gave his wife Meghan an eternity ring to mark their first wedding anniversary.

Last month, the couple celebrated the occasion after tying the knot on May 19 last year at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

According to Hello! magazine, to mark one year of marriage, Harry pulled out all the stops for Meghan by giving her the stunning ring.

The publication claims Meghan showed off the ring on Saturday as she made a brief return to royal duties to attend the Trooping The Colour ceremony, which celebrates the Queen’s official birthday.

The former actress – who welcomed her first child, son Archie, last month – wore the ring next to her Welsh gold wedding bang and her three-stone diamond engagement ring.

Eternity rings symbolise lasting affection and are typically set with an unbroken circle of gems.

They can be gifted to mark a milestone wedding anniversary or to celebrate the welcoming of a new child.

Last month, Meghan and Harry shared a string of unseen photos from their wedding day to mark their anniversary.

The post included one photo of Harry in his uniform alongside his older brother Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, as he prepared to marry Meghan.

Another showed Meghan walking down the aisle with Harry’s dad, Prince Charles.

One saw the newly-wed beaming alongside her mother, Doria Ragland.

The video of pictures ended with the message: “Thank you for making the memory of this day so special.”
