The couple have finished their 16-day royal tour

| Updated:

Prince Harry has shared a stunning photo of wife Meghan cradling her growing baby bump as their royal tour came to an end.

The royal couple captured the picture while visiting the Redwoods Forest in Rotorua on the final day of their 16-day tour across Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.

Shared to the Kensington Palace Instagram page, the pic sees Meghan gently resting her hands on her bump while surrounding by huge trees.

The beautiful snap was captioned with a message from the couple thanking New Zealand for a “wonderful last week” of their tour.

It said: “A message from The Duke and Duchess of Sussex: ‘Thank you New Zealand for the most wonderful last week of our tour. It has been a privilege to meet so many friendly Kiwis.

“Australia, Fiji, Tonga and NZ – we leave feeling inspired and reminded of how every single one of us can make a difference.'”

Their message went on to quote Kate Sheppard, the most prominent member of the women’s suffrage movement in New Zealand, adding: “‘The rain that refreshes the parched ground, is made up of single drops’ – Kate Sheppard.”

Another wrote: “Beautiful Meghan and her bump. I am so happy for them,” while a third said: “The best picture! Proud parents-to-be!!”

Kensington Palace shared other snaps of the couple at the forest alongside the caption: “At the beautiful Redwoods Forest in Rotorua, home of treewalks, mountain biking and 100-year old trees.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the spectacular Redwoods Treewalk in Rotorua, a series of suspension bridges traversing the gaps between its majestic trees, each with their own living deck to ensure viewing platforms adapt to the trees’ rapid growth without any harm.”
