She's your granny Harry!

Prince Harry has made an amusing revelation about how he feels when he sees the Queen – admitting the sight of his own granny fills him with panic!

As part of a new ITV documentary about his regal grandmother’s role as head of the Commonwealth, Prince Harry made the admission when talking to a group of professionals from the Caribbean hospitality industry, who were staying at Buckingham Palace as part of the filming.

Prepping the group about how to act if they were to run into the Queen, the Duke of Sussex quips: “Have you guys bumped into the Queen yet? If you suddenly bump into her in the corridor, don’t panic!

Harry adds: “You guys have spent way more time at Buckingham Palace than I ever have – and you’ve only been here two weeks!”

The Prince and his wife Meghan Markle, whom he married in May, live in Nottingham Cottage – a two-bedroom house in the grounds of the Kensington Palace – where Prince William also lives with wife Kate and children Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte.

However, the Queen, 92,  is said to have recently ‘gifted’ Harry and Meghan a new home, Adelaide Cottage, in Windsor, where Peter Townsend, who was romantically linked to Princess Margaret, once lived.

Harry has previously spoken about the Queen, confessing he views her as ‘his boss’ more than his grandmother!

For part of a BBC documentary to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday in 2016,  Elizabeth at 90 – A Family Tribute, Harry said: “I still view her more as the Queen than my grandmother.

“You have this huge amount of respect for your boss, and I always view her as my boss – and occasionally as a  grandmother.”

He added: “People always say, ‘Do you feel as if you are following in her footsteps?’ And yes, that is exactly what we are doing.”
