Prince Harry and Meghan Markle share third candid photo from engagement shoot

Released additional pic as a thank you

| Updated:

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released two official engagement pictures yesterday to celebrate their forthcoming marriage.

The stunning images, taken at Frogmore House in the grounds of Windsor Castle, showed the couple looking very loved-up as the Suits actress flashed her dazzling diamond engagement ring while wearing a daring sheer dress.

Today, Kensington Palace said the pair have been so overwhelmed by the “warm and generous messages” they have received in response to the pictures, they have decided to show us one more.

The third picture is another black and white snap and shows the smiling couple walking together beside Frogmore Lake.

This time the picture is full-length, revealing Meghan’s designer dress in more detail.

It was designed by British label Ralph & Russo and is estimated to cost an eye-watering £56,000 because of the workmanship that goes into stitching the gold leaf.

Meghan’s choice of gown shows how she is once again breaking the royal rule book by wearing a revealing dress rather than a demure one like the Duchess Of Cambridge did in her engagement photos to Prince William.

The 36-year-old’s dress, which can be seen more fully in the new picture where she links one arm with Harry while holding his hand with the other, is a sheer bodice, usually worn without a bra, while the tulle skirt also has some sheer panelling to flash some leg as she walks.

The designer dress was partly seen in the first picture the couple released yesterday from their shoot with fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski.

In another black and white picture of the couple smiling with their heads pressed together and Meghan holding Harry’s face, she wore a cream jumper that is believed to be designed by Victoria Beckham.

Kensington Palace said Harry and Meghan decided to share the third picture as a thank you.

The palace tweeted: “Thank you so much for all of the wonderful comments following the release of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle’s engagement photographs.

“The couple are so grateful for the warm and generous messages they have received during such a happy time in their lives.

“As a way to say thank you, they have decided to share this candid photograph from the day of their portrait sittings directly with all of you.”

Fans went wild when they saw the snaps yesterday saying Meghan looked beautiful and the couple looked so much in love.

Photographer Alexi also shared one of the pictures on his Instagram writing: “A  huge thank you to His Royal Highness Prince Harry and Ms Markle, for allowing me to take their official engagement portraits.

“Not only was it an incredible honour, but also an immense privilege to be invited to share and be a witness to this young couple’s love for each other.  I cannot help but smile when I look at the photos that we took.”

Meghan is swiftly becoming a part of the royal family after she and Harry announced their engagement last month.
