Pregnant Rachel Riley dresses baby bump in Christmas jumper after trying to bring on labour

She's due very soon

Rachel Riley has confirmed she’s still pregnant after recently trying a labour-inducing ‘experiment’.

The Countdown presenter shared a snap to Instagram on Friday showing herself wearing a Christmas jumper.

Posing in front of a Christmas tree, Rachel cradled her huge bump as she sported the festive garment which had a reindeer on the front with pom-poms.

She captioned the post: “HAPPY CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY!!!!!!!!! Hope you raise a tonne @savechildrenuk.”

Fans gushed over the image with many hoping the baby will make an appearance soon.

One person said: “You still here? That baby needs to make appearance.”

Another wrote: “Looking ready to pop!”

A third added: “Still no baby yet then?? When’s your actual due date?”

Earlier this week, Rachel revealed she ate chilli in the hope it would bring on her labour.

Rachel, whose partner is former Strictly Come Dancing pro dancer Pasha Kovalev, posted an image of a bowl of chopped-up red chilli and a fiery-looking dry rub.

That baby needs to make appearance.

She wrote: “Chilli experiment failed.”

Last month, Rachel opened up about her fears of becoming a mum for the first time.

When she was 12 weeks pregnant, Rachel had the opportunity to get a taster of being a mum by looking after children on reality series My Famous Babysitter.

In an interview with The Mirror, she said of the experience: “It’s crazy how the universe has plans for you. At the end of last year I was thinking about a family and I guess this show is the only way you can try before you buy with kids!

“Pasha and I are honestly really excited. It’s scary and exciting all at the same time. Our parents are over the moon and so are our friends.”

The couple announced their pregnancy back in May and Rachel has hinted she’s due very soon.
