Pregnant Jemma Lucy hits back at trolls over “non-stop abuse”

She's had enough of the horse jibes

Celebrity Big Brother’s Jemma Lucy has laid into online trolls for giving her stick over a picture she posted on her Instagram page last month.

The former Ex On The Beach star, 30, has been given loads of grief after sharing a photo of herself riding a horse while seven months pregnant.

But she’s clearly decided that enough is enough – in a scathing new interview, she’s slammed her critics for giving her “non-stop abuse”, and insisted that she knew what she was doing.

Jemma’s picture, which she shared on April 5, showed her mounted on her horse alongside her friend.

The snap was captioned: “Cute day on the horses with my @denonlieghfearon.”

But it didn’t go down well with some fans, who suggested that Jemma was a bad mother for putting her unborn child at risk.

Now Jemma has decided to fight her corner.

Highlighting that she’s ridden horses since she was two years old, she told The Sun: “There’s nothing dangerous or unsafe about riding a horse if you’re pregnant, as long as you know what you’re doing.”

And she added that the constant jibes about her behaviour are starting to get under her skin.

“I ride my horse, I get slammed. I go out to a nightclub to see friends – where I’m not drinking or doing anything I shouldn’t – and I get slated,” she told the paper.

“I won’t be put off posting updates online, because my fans want to see it. But it’s hard having to see non-stop abuse every day.”

The Oxford-born star is no longer with the baby’s father, and she’s reluctant to even reveal who he is.

During a recent interview with Fubar Radio, she said: “I’m really not going into that, sorry.

“I left that situation about a month ago. I went travelling and I’ve come back and I’ve forgotten it exists, really.”
