Celebrity manager John Ferriter has passed away suddenly at the age of 59.
John was manager to stars like comedian Jimmy Kimmel and US radio host Ryan Seacrest, but also Piers Morgan, who left a touching tribute on social media.
In an emotional and heartfelt tribute, the controversial Good Morning Britain presenter wrote on Twitter: "RIP John Ferriter, 59.
"My brilliant manager and ferociously loyal, kind, charismatic and supremely talented friend. I trusted him with my life, and he enriched my life so much.
"Thank you John, for everything you did for me, and for my family."
I am crushed. I know he loved you.
Many of Piers' 6.7 million followers took to the social media site to express their own shock.
"This is so sad. Sending love," one said.
Another wrote: "So sorry, Piers. He was a lovely guy when I met him on the Trump interviews. Thoughts with you, your family and his."
A third said: "I am crushed. I know he loved you.
"John was an groomsman at our wedding, a roommate, our oldest childrens' Godfather and an amazing friend. We lost touch when we moved to Texas but he reached out to us and we reconnected. My kids loved to follow Uncle John’s success. He will be missed."
John built his name as a TV executive and was the worldwide head of non-scripted TV at the William Morris Agency.
He has also worked with British stars like Mark Wright and Gemma Collins.
