Piers Morgan has claimed Holly Willoughby’s ‘halo is slipping’ after the ITV favourite made a rude hand gesture at him on Celebrity Juice.
Holly, 38, was filmed smashing up the set of Piers’ Life Stories show with Paddy McGuinness, 45, and Piers posted a promise of revenge on Instagram.

Joking that it revealed a darker side to the This Morning presenter’s normally bubbly personality, he shared a pic of the moment Holly gave him the finger and captioned it: “When the halo slips… I’ll exact revenge for this outrage @hollywilloughby @mcguinness.paddy & it will make your trashing of my Life Stories set look like a tea party.”
A number of Piers’ fans agreed with him in the comments.
One wrote: “What disrespect from @hollywilloughby. Finally she shows her real face. In This Morning she’s so fake.”
Someone else said: “Yep, the halo has definitely slipped!”
A third replied, alongside crying-laughing emojis: “Can’t wait to see what you do.”
Others were quick to jump to Holly’s defence, with one telling the rest: “Leave Holly alone you load of jealous [bleeps]”.
Another user commented: “Wow, what’s with the haters? Love Holly. When she is good, she is very very good, and when she is bad, she is horrid. Well done, Holly. You’re Mint.”
The post can be taken as an indication that Piers is indeed planning to exact revenge on Holly and Paddy.
It’s a reiteration of his previous declaration of war on the pair, after the Celebrity Juice clip was shown on Good Morning Britain earlier this week.
Under orders from host Keith Lemon, the team captains rushed around the Life Stories set, wrecking the furniture, chucking toilet roll and spraying cans of silly string.

The other GMB presenters appeared to find it hilarious but Piers, who looked peeved, said: “Two words, McGuinness, Willoughby. Dead meat.
“Revenge is a dish best tasted cold. Chillingly cold. You’ve just sentenced yourselves, the pair of you, to a lifetime of hell. And I’ll be coming for you shortly.”
Piers is preparing to take a two-week break from presenting GMB alongside co-host Susanna Reid, with Richard Madeley reportedly among the lineup of stand-ins.
