Daytime TV favourite Piers Morgan looked every bit the proud dad as he congratulated his teenage son on his A-Level results.
The Good Morning Britain host, 54, shared a snap of himself beaming with his arm around Bertie and congratulated the 18-year-old on a “due reward” for a “tremendous work ethic”.
He captioned the pic, posted for his 670k followers on Instagram: “Congrats No3 @bertie_morgan on your 3 A*s.”

Piers went on to joke that he didn’t do quite as well in his own A-Levels and thanked Bertie’s “superb” school for the education.
He continued: “The apple fell in a different orchard to your old man (I only got ABC).
“Proud of you son, due reward for tremendous work ethic. And thanks to @wellingtoncollege for giving him a superb education. #alevels2019.”
Piers’ celeb pals took to the comments to congratulate Bertie, with This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby posting a string of hands-in-the-air emojis and his fellow GMB host Kate Garraway writing, “Brillaint” while Susanna Reid said, “Huge congratulations, Bertie.”
Bertie also commented on the snap, writing simply: “Thanks, Dad!”
Piers has four children – Spencer, 26, Stanley, 22, Albert, 18, and Elise, seven.
His three boys are from his marriage with ex-wife Marion Shalloe, while Elise’s mum is his second wife, journalist Celia Walden.
Over the last few weeks, Piers has been delighting his followers on social media with pics from his holiday in California as he takes time off for the summer.
One shot he shared of himself with Stanley and Elise on beautiful Malibu beach got his fans talking about how “good looking” his second-eldest is, while others lamented how “boring” GMB has become without him.
The California break followed on from Piers’ summer holiday in Saint Tropez.
In June, he posted a sweet photo of his daughter Elise during their trip to the French Riviera town.

The snap showed Elise walking around picking flowers as she made a little bouquet for Piers’ famous pal, Joan Collins.
He captioned the adorable photo: “Picking flowers to present to Dame @joancollinsdbe over lunch at @club55sttropez.”
Piers’ fans will have to wait a while to have him back on GMB, as he’s not set to return until September 2.
