Eamonn Holmes was joined by his only daughter Rebecca as he received his OBE at Buckingham Palace.
The 58-year-old was awarded for his services to broadcasting during the investiture ceremony on Friday morning.
Arriving at Buckingham Palace, the television icon posed for a photo with Rebecca, 27, outside the famous gates, both donning police hats and giving a salute.
The pic was posted to Instagram by Eamonn’s wife, Ruth Langsford, alongside the caption: “‘Ello ‘Ello…. what’s going on here then? @eamonnholmes & his beautiful daughter @rebecca_leonora off to collect his OBE!”
Fans were quick to comment on the lovely father-daughter snap. One said: “Aww beautiful daughter Eamonn you both look fantastic lovely pic.”
Another wrote: “I love this photo. This is so cute.”
A third added: “Spitting image of dad!”

Eamonn has daughter Rebecca with first wife Gabrielle; they also share sons Declan, 29, and Niall, 25.
The star has a third son, Jack, 16, with second wife Ruth.
Eamonn usually keeps his children away from the limelight, very rarely sharing images of them with social media followers.
Both Ruth and Jack were also present as breakfast TV stalwart Eamonn was awarded his OBE by The Queen.
Eamonn has revealed he asked the Queen for an interview while receiving the accolade but his request was laughed off!
He told the Press Association: “She talked about breakfast television and asked me how long I had been doing it and I said ‘too long’.
“I told her that I have interviewed almost every member of her family except her. I said, ‘so you have got to put that right for me’.
“She laughed – I think that meant no.”
Eamonn joked that he was “always seeking the interview, just trying to get the big names””.
Describing how it felt to be honoured, the veteran of breakfast TV said he was “feeling very honoured, very privileged and very humbled”.
He added he had been overwhelmed by the response from well-wishers on social media, and he would be having a party later with Ruth and their children.
Asked about his recovery following double hip surgery two years ago, Eamonn said: “If you’re going to get your hips fixed, there is no finer walk to have them fixed for than this one.”
Eamonn’s OBE was awarded in the New Year’s Honours list, with the Northern Irish-born presenter saying: “It’s like getting a gold star for your homework – 2018 will be my 38th year as a broadcaster and I can’t think of a better way of marking that.”
He is perhaps best known for his roles on daytime programmes, including GMTV and Sky News’ Sunrise, as well as ITV’s This Morning.
His other credits include Channel 5 programme How The Other Half Lives, which he also presented with alongside Ruth, and a presenting role on the BBC’s Songs Of Praise.
He also has his own talkRADIO show and voices a CBeebies programme called Biggleton.
