This Morning host Phillip Schofield may be joining the cast of Emmerdale – but only if he agrees to go naked!
Show writer and This Morning soap expert Sharon Marshall told Phil she’d come up with the perfect part for him to play.
“I’m just thinking of ways we could put you in a cameo in Emmerdale,” she informed the presenter.
“You would not believe the most outrageous suggestion she just had,” co-host Holly Willoughby giggled before Phil chimed in.
“She said: ‘I’m going to write you into Emmerdale just briefly, I’m thinking nudist camp!’
“Just walk in and they say: ‘Your usual room Mr Schofield?'”

“You could have a bottom double,” Sharon assured him.
Holly found the whole idea hilarious, until Phil suggested she also take part in the storyline.
“No, no, no, this is all about you and your bum double,” Holly insisted.

It wouldn’t be the first time Phil has starred in the ITV soap, having been an extra in an episode in 2015 in aid of charity appeal Text Santa.
In that scene, he didn’t actually have any lines, he was just browsing in David’s shop, so at least in this latest plan he’d get to say something!
