Phillip Schofield admits he's suffering after night out with Holly Willoughby

The presenters have been relaxing in Portugal

This Morning's Phillip Schofield has admitted he was suffering after enjoying a night out with Holly Willoughby.

The presenting duo appeared to be having plenty of fun in the sun in Portugal with their families.

Clearly letting their hair down as they enjoy a well-deserved time off from This Morning over the summer holidays, Phil shared a snap of himself looking worse for wear the morning after the night before.

The TV star, 57, posted a photo to his Snapchat account which showed him in bed with the duvet pulled up to cover his entire face.

He hilariously captioned it, "The morning after a session with Holly... carnage," and added a crying with laughter emoji.

Earlier, Holly, 38, had posted a picture of them both smiling for the camera while enjoying a day at the beach. Showing adoration for her co-star, she captioned it with six love heart emojis.

Phil also shared the same shot and sweetly wrote, "Here she is, bestie."

Holly and Phil regularly jet off to Portugal together when they have time off from filming the popular ITV show.

Their latest trip comes just a few months after it was reported they fell out over a magazine article that showed Holly wearing a cartoon crown while Phillip was bare-headed.

However, Holly later played down the rumours and judging by these latest shots, they're definitely back to being best mates again.

Meanwhile, Phil's not the only co-worker Holly's been hitting the beach with recently.

The TV star - who married Dan Baldwin in 2007 and shares Belle, Chester, and Harry with the producer - shared a special moment with her friend and co-host, Rochelle Humes last week, as they enjoyed some time with their children.

Beside a montage of shots showing them all running into the sea, Holly wrote: "Who knew... when the girl you love and admire looks after @schofe when you are away and then when we finally get the time together as a family @rochellehumes... our girls fall into sync... it's like looking in the mirror... #girls #family #minime."
