Phillip Schofield caught in VERY rude position!

This Morning co-star Holly Willoughby found it hilarious!

| Updated:

Phillip Schofield had Holly Willoughby and the Loose Women in hysterics today thanks to an unfortunate camera angle on This Morning.

As the This Morning hosts linked up to speak to their ITV colleagues about what was coming up on Loose Women, Phil was bending over and stroking Digby the dog, who was at his feet.

But the camera angle showing him and Holly from just the waist up meant the pup could not be seen, and instead it looked like Phil was doing something very rude with his moving hands…

Seeing how it appeared on the monitor, Phil exclaimed to the crew: “Will you widen that shot so you can actually see what I am doing, please?”

He added of the embarrassing shot: “That’s just unfortunate there isn’t it?!”

Holly found it hilarious and couldn’t contain her giggles.

“I can’t look!” she laughed as the camera zoomed in on them again.

Andrea McLean, Coleen Nolan, Kelly Brook and Jane Moore in the Loose Women studio also burst into laughter when they saw the scene.

“Don’t worry Phil, you just crack on!” Coleen told him, as Phil asked them what would be on their show.

Viewers also saw the funny side of the incident.

“What is Schofield doing on LIVE TV?” one asked with laughing emojis.

“I’m creasing,” said another of the moment.

Others warned the presenter that he would never live it down, as the clip could be made as a GIF to be shared online forever!

Poor Phil, hands where we can always see them from now on!

But, showing he saw the funny side, the star later replied to someone on Twitter who flagged the awkward angle by sharing a laughing emoji.
