Phillip Schofield gives Holly Willoughby a ticking off over “grey” hair comment

Watch what you say, Hol!

Phillip Schofield is a proud arctic blond fox and wants the world to know it!

He is NOT a grey-haired television presenter, okay?

The 55-year-old jokingly chided This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby, 37, on Wednesday after she referred to him as being grey-haired during a chat with entertainer Brian Conley.

It all started when Brian, 56, revealed his brown locks weren’t natural.

“I want you to know this is all dyed up,” said Brian. “It looks good, doesn’t it? I had it done yesterday.”

Phillip replied: “It looks really good. I did that for a long time and then got really bored of it.”

Phillip then ran his fingers through his hair and added: “This is arctic blond. I buy it in Boots. I’m pretty much [your colour].”

A confused Brian didn’t quite understand what Phillip meant, prompting Holly to explain: “He’s [your] colour normally. He dyes it grey.”

Wow, wow, wow, GREY?!

Phillip pretended to be deeply offended and turned to Holly: “Um, grey? Grey?”

A giggling Holly replied: “Sorry! Arctic blond! Correction!”

Brian, who appeared on the last series of Strictly, then interrupted to joke: “This is not all about you. Come on, get on to me!”

Brian was on This Morning to chat about his upcoming tour, Brian Conley: Still The Greatest Entertainer (In His Price Range) – and why audience members are reluctant to sit in the front row!

He said that’s the last row to sell out, adding: “I think people know I will have fun with them!”

Brian said there’s lots of comedy and music in his show, as well as a nod to his time on Strictly.

He lasted six weeks on the BBC show and told Holly and Phil it had been a “wonderful” thing to do.
