Peter Andre’s wife Emily says she hasn’t ruled out having more children

This will thrill Pete!

Peter Andre’s wife Emily hasn’t ruled out having more children, after her husband admitted publicly he’s desperate to add to their brood.

The couple are parents to daughter Amelia, four, and son Theo, one, while Pete is also dad to kids Junior, 12, and Princess, ten, from his marriage to ex-wife Katie Price.

In recent weeks, Peter has been rather vocal in interviews about wanting another child, but has said Em isn’t as keen to try again.

However, appearing on today’s Lorraine as a stand-in for Dr Hilary Jones, Emily suggested she hasn’t ruled out more children completely.

When quizzed by Lorraine Kelly, she answered: “Maybe!”

Lorraine then pointed out Peter would ideally have a whole football team if he could, which made Emily laugh.

“He would!” she said. “But he changes his mind! I remember him saying, ‘No, no, no, no more children’ and I think now Theo is sleeping a little bit more, he’s saying, ‘Oh, maybe we will…'”

But while Emily said “maybe” to the idea of more kids, it doesn’t seem likely to happen anytime soon.

“I’m very much focused on my career and getting back to that,” she said.

Emily has just returned to her job as a doctor in a hospital following maternity leave.

She said: “I went back at the beginning of December and I’m really enjoying being back and getting stuck back in.”

While she’s at work, Peter is looking after the kids at home.

“Peter is really wonderful, really good,” she said.

“I think he’s quite enjoying it when I’m at work and loves when I come home and he can say he’s made dinner and cleaned up and the kids are happy!”

Peter, who married Emily in 2015, admitted earlier this week he’d been begging Emily to agree to another child.

Speaking to the Mirror Online, Peter revealed: “All of a sudden I said I wanted another baby. It’s weird as I always said I don’t want to be changing nappies at 50, like Simon Cowell.

“[Emily’s] quite content not to have one and is full on back at work.”

He also brought up his broodiness in another interview, this time with OK! magazine, saying he doesn’t even have to tell Emily because she already knows how keen he is to have more.

“It’s kind of weird, isn’t it? Especially as I was so ‘never again’ as I was having seven espressos a day and still struggling! I don’t need to say it now, she just knows.”

He added: “That’s why she doesn’t go anywhere near me in bed! She’s like: ‘Stay over there!'”

Oh dear!
