He sent his thoughts to the woman's family

Peter Andre has revealed his plane home from Florida was forced to make an emergency landing after a passenger sadly died.

The Mysterious Girl singer, 45, wrote about the “distressing” incident in his latest New! magazine column.

He’d been in Florida with eldest children Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, to combine a family holiday with work commitments including shooting his 2019 calendar.

Peter wrote: “We witnessed the most distressing event on our flight home from Florida. A lady on our plane sadly lost her life. It happened so suddenly.

“There were a couple of doctors on board who tried to save her but sadly they couldn’t and we had to make an emergency landing. It was so, so, sad.”

He sent his thoughts to the passenger’s family and loved ones.

Peter fell ill at the end of his holiday in Florida, picking up a bug that forced him to cancel a planned event back home.

He was due to host An Evening With… in Great Yarmouth two weekends ago, but pulled out due to sickness.

The star’s since apologised to disappointed fans and said he’s doing everything he can to reschedule the Q&A and meet and greet for another date.

Peter travelled to Florida without wife Emily and their children, Amelia, four, and one-year-old Theo, as Emily, a doctor, was working and getting Amelia ready for her first day of school.

In her latest OK! Magazine column, Emily, 29, wrote: “It’s really exciting and also a bit emotional. I can’t believe how grown up she is!

“I’m really looking forward to taking her on her first day – I work part-time so I don’t miss moments like that.

“I think she’ll be a bit nervous but I haven’t made too much of a big deal about it to her because otherwise it might make it intimidating.”

Emily said she’s hoping Amelia will be okay as she’s starting in a school class surrounded by her old nursery friends.
