Peter Andre says meeting wife Emily helped him battle a mid-life crisis

We had no idea!

Peter Andre has revealed that he was suffering from a mid-life crisis before he met his wife Emily.

The Mysterious Girl singer first met Emily, 31, 10 years ago in 2010 when she was 21-years-old and he was nearing 40.

In the latest episode of their reality series Life with the Andres, Emily and Peter looked back at what their lives were like when they first began embarking on their romantic journey together.

What happened at the start of Peter Andre and Emily’s relationship?

Emily began: “Do you remember that time that you came and visited me in Bristol?

“It was snowing and you drove your Lamborghini to my student flat and everyone was like ‘who is this guy?'”

Peter replied: “That was probably the most stupidest thing I have ever done!”

Emily continued: “I remember you nearly died on the way! It was pouring with snow and you were like ‘Oh I’m going to turn up in my Lambo!'”

Peter added: “I was dying to see you! Oh what an idiot! What an absolute tool!

“I actually think I was going through a mid-life crisis!”

The happy couple have been inseparable ever since they first met.

They announced they were expecting a baby together in 2013, and then went on to tie the knot in 2015.

Peter Andre’s tributes to ‘stunning’ wife Emily

In July, when they celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary, Peter shared videos from their big day to Instagram.

In a sweet tribute, he praised Emily as “funny” and “kind”, and told her she is “stunning”.

He wrote: “You’re funny, kind, intelligent and stunning. Happy 5th wedding anniversary, Emily.”

Meanwhile, Pete isn’t the only broody one in their relationship after Emily revealed she’d love a third child with the Aussie star.

The 30-year-old doctor recently told OK! Magazine earlier this year that expanding their family is something very much on their minds.

Emily explained: “We do talk about having another baby one day. My fear is that I’m going to get major empty nest syndrome when Theo goes to school next September.

“But there are no plans for a baby at the moment.”
