Peter Andre reveals exciting news about son Junior

Congratulations, Junior!

Peter Andre is one proud dad today after eldest son Junior landed a drama scholarship!

The 44-year-old took to Instagram to congratulate Junior, 12, on his exciting news, as the schoolboy takes his first steps towards an acting career.

Letting Junior take centre stage in a Christmas Eve selfie, Pete gushed to fans: “So proud of Junior getting his drama scholarship so it’s dad and son time today at the movies!”

Fans were quick to congratulate Junior on his success – and point out just how much Junior looks like his dad!

One wrote: “Well done what a gorgeous boy you have – he really looks like you.”

Another said: “Well done Junior, great news!”

Pete hasn’t given any info when it comes to the details of Junior’s scholarship, but we reckon the proud dad won’t be able to resist spilling all soon enough!

Junior’s foray into drama means he’s firmly following in the footsteps of his famous parents: his mum is Peter’s ex-wife, Katie Price.

And Junior’s certainly no stranger to a showbiz life!

Ever since Katie discovered she was pregnant with him, the youngster has been on TV and posed for magazine covers with sister Princess, ten.

He also has half-siblings Amelia, three, and Theo, one, from Peter’s marriage to second wife Emily, and brothers Harvey, 15, Jett, four, and sister Bunny, three, from his mum.

Peter revealed Junior’s acting ambitions in an interview last year, saying that he’d enrolled the youngster in acting classes at his school.

However, Pete wanted Junior to finish school and get his qualifications before taking any serious steps towards an acting career, if that is what he wants to do.

No doubt Pete is particularly proud of Junior’s success given his own desire to do more acting.

Back in April, Peter revealed he’d landed his very first movie role in a Hollywood thriller called The Undoing.

At the time, he told fans: “Finally. I’ve received (after months of talks) my first ever film script. Start filming in LA next year, and… it’s a big part…. wahoo! I’ve only waited 44 years.”

Congrats, Junior!
