Peter Andre makes sweet confession about Katie Price’s son Harvey

Pete opened up about his former stepson recently

Dad-of-four Peter Andre has opened up about his former stepson Harvey Price and revealed the 15-year-old “taught him how to be a dad”.

The singer was in Harvey’s life during his marriage to former glamour model Katie Price, which ended in 2009.

But Pete insists he still has contact with the teen.

Speaking to Sydney’s KIIS FM the reality star admitted: “The first child that taught me how to be a dad was Harvey.”

The 44-year-old also shares Junior, 11, and Princess, nine, with ex Katie, 39.

Talking about Junior and Princess, Pete added: “(Junior is) a very polite boy, I’m a bit too strict on him unfortunately.

“But I think that being strict on them will pay off in the long run.

“I mean, they roll their eyes at me all the time, telling them to have manners and to be respectful to people and all those sort of things.”

Meanwhile Pete showed he still has a close bond with stepson Harvey.

The Aussie star wished the teen a happy birthday earlier this week.

“Happy birthday to a very special boy:))) hope you like your prezzies,” Pete wrote.

Fans were more than happy to see the two had remained close despite Katie and Pete’s messy divorce.

One wrote: “Aww you’re a great dad. Shame you’re not recognised now as his dad. He will still remember you as his dad.”

“Unconditional love,” another said.

The Mysterious Girl singer is now happily married to 27-year-old Emily MacDonagh and the couple have two children together Amelia, three, and Theo, six-months.

Junior doctor Emily recently opened up about people criticising their 16-year age gap relationship.

She said: “I find it hard when people say I’m too young for him.

“My skin is not thick enough and I find it very upsetting.”

Pete added: “As far as we’re concerned, we’re just two people who like the same things.

“Every couple has their good and bad moments, of course, but we have so much common ground and love being together.

“And she is a very mature, smart girl with a good head on her shoulders.”
