Peter Andre forced to change name of newborn son

His fourth child arrived last month

| Updated:

Peter Andre and his wife Emily are currently enjoying the warm glow of becoming new parents again.

The couple welcomed a baby boy late last month – a little brother for their two-year-old daughter Amelia and Pete’s two children with ex-wife Katie Price, Junior, 11, and Princess, nine.

However, there is one sticky thorn in their side – the family just can’t agree on what to call the wee one.

Pete has already opened up about he and Emily disagreeing over his initial preferences for names.

He told readers of his New! magazine column: “We have so many we like, but every time we go to say it, it just doesn’t stick.

“I love names like Oscar and Arthur, but Emily’s not so keen.”

But it seems it’s not just the missus that needs to give the name the seal of approval – the other kids have a say too.

Fans on Twitter have been pressing him about whether the tot has a name yet.

He replied: “Loving so many names James Theo (Theodore) Benjamin.

“All the other ones I loved the kids don’t like haha.”

His other three children are all in agreement about adoring their new sibling, though.

Pete explained: “J and P were the first people I told about the baby. They got to meet their new brother at the weekend and they love him already.

“Mills has been awesome too, and is loving being a big sister. She calls him Brother Baby – it’s so cute. I was putting her to bed the other night and with the new baby here, Mills looks like a giant now.”

Aww.

But Pete, mate, tip from us – about that naming, if you let the kids be a part of the process, you’ll never nail it…

Or you’ll end up calling your boy Rainbow Dash, or Donatello.

Then again…

Meanwhile this week, Pete opened up about a worrying health condition.

He may be one of the warmest, most positive celebrities in the showbiz world, but he has been hiding a sad secret.

The singer has revealed that he suffers from social anxiety.

He made the revelation on Twitter after watching fellow performer Robbie Williams admit to the same condition on Loose Women.

The 43-year-old wrote: “Watching LW and the topic is ‘is social anxiety making you dread party season’?

“I never thought I would admit it but like @robbiewilliams I too suffer the same thing”.

He continued: “I guess I tend to Hide away sometimes and cancel social things. I don’t mean to (sic)”.

The Aussie favourite concluded his outpouring thus: “Random but I thought I’d tell you all. Thank you :)”.

Wow, that’s a pretty brave thing to do – especially when you work in an industry that expects you to be Jazz Hands 24/7.

Robbie told Radio Times this week that anti-depressants have helped him through a “weird year”.

The former Take That star explained the year: “Troublesome and sad. Then I tried this anti-depressant and things have changed. The demons are quiet.”
