Peter Andre enlists I’m A Celebrity star to help him prepare for Hollywood film debut

An exciting time for the Mysterious Girl singer!

Peter Andre is getting help from Jamie Lomas ahead of filming his very first Hollywood movie role.

The 45-year-old is about to jet off to Los Angeles to appear in a film called The Inheritance, and has been getting some camera tips from ex-Hollyoaks and I’m A Celebrity star Jamie.

Writing in his New! magazine column, Pete said: “Jamie has kindly offered to come to mine this week to go through the script.

“It came about after we appeared on Loose Women together recently.

“He’s actually worked with James Hickox, the same director I’m working with, and James has been telling me what a great guy and actor Jamie is.”

Peter first broke the news of his film role last year, proudly posing with the script online.

The movie’s working title was The Undoing.

At the time, he told fans: “Finally. I’ve received (after months of talks) my first ever film script. Start filming in LA next year, and… it’s a big part…. wahoo! I’ve only waited 44 years.”

He later added to Australia’s Daily Telegraph: “I feel very lucky. They’ve sent me the rough draft and they’ve given me a really good part.

“That is like the ultimate dream, that is the big one, so I just hope I can do it well.

“So the fact they sent the script to me, it doesn’t matter what happens now.”

Peter told OK! magazine last year: “It’s the ultimate dream for me. I don’t think anything can top getting a part in a movie.”

It does mean he’ll be leaving wife Emily, 28, and his kids behind in the UK for ten days.

He and Emily have Amelia, four, and Theo, one, while Pete is also dad to Junior, 12, and Princess, ten, from his marriage to Katie Price.

Emily said she’s incredibly proud of Peter but will miss him when he’s away.

“I hate it when Pete goes away – the kids and I really miss him. We’re hoping that we can do some travelling with him when he’s working in Europe this summer,” she said.

Good luck, Pete!
