Peter Andre and wife Emily become hosting duo on This Morning

Watch out Eamonn and Ruth... another real-life TV couple

Aussie reality star Peter Andre and wife Emily MacDonagh have become a presenting duo to front a brand new travel segment on ITV’s This Morning.

This will be the first time the couple, who married in 2015, will work on TV together.

Pete and Emily showed off their presenting abilities on today’s show as they jetted to their honeymoon destination of Santorini.

A source told the Mirror: “This will be the first time viewers will have such an insight into their relationship and witness them fronting films together for This Morning.

“Their natural chemistry is hugely endearing as they relive their dream honeymoon destination – when Emily mocks Pete for his ‘dad jokes’!”

The couple rode on quad bikes as they explored the Greek island.

And of course viewers loved them!

One tweeted: “Worth watching #ThisMorning today just to see the lovely @MrPeterAndre with his gorgeous wife Emily in a stunning location.”

“Loved you both presenting today Pete! Very natural & funny! Would love to see you together more often! Emily is stunning,” another said.

This comes after Emily, 27, responded to trolls who bodyshamed her post-baby bod.

The junior doctor has opened up about snapping back into shape since having her little tot Theo seven months ago.

But she revealed breastfeeding has helped get her slim physique back.

Speaking in her latest OK! Magazine column Emily, 27, said: “I think people make body-shaming judgements both ways.

“I’m lucky that I’ve snapped back after both of mine, but I haven’t really done anything apart from breastfeeding.

“I know it doesn’t apply to everyone, but for me when I’m breastfeeding, I have to eat a lot to keep weight on, because you burn 600 calories a day from doing it, so I ended up losing quite a bit of weight with the breastfeeding after having Millie and Theo.”

She continued: “People assume I have a personal trainer or say things like: ‘Well you’ve got nannies to look after the kids so you can exercise and diet.’

“That’s not the case at all. You just can’t win!”

Speaking about his wife Pete, 44, said: “We’re just two people who like the same things. Every couple has their good and bad moments, of course, but we have so much common ground and love being together.

“And she is a very mature, smart girl with a good head on her shoulders.

“I don’t know whether it works because I’m very immature and she’s mature!”
