Peter and Emily Andre book their first ever holiday without the kids

Emily explains why she thinks it's important to have 'them' time

They’re proud parents to two very young children so perhaps it’s no surprise Peter Andre and wife Emily have never been on holiday without their kids.

Until now!

Emily, 28, has revealed she and Pete, 44, are gearing up for their first adults-only vacation since starting a family together back in 2014.

Writing in her new OK! magazine column, Emily said: “We both think it’s important to carve those niches of us time, although I do always find it hard to leave Millie and Theo.

“In fact, I’ve never left both of them before.”

Emily, a qualified doctor, said it’s important for the couple to get a bit of ‘me’ time as Peter’s been working loads lately and she’s preparing for a return to work.

She’s been on maternity leave from her hospital job since giving birth to son Theo in November.

The couple are also parents to daughter Amelia, three.

“Pete and I are hoping to get away for a few days at the end of this week, just the two of us, but we’ve been so busy that we haven’t got around to organising anything yet!” she wrote.

“I’m leaving it all up to Pete so let’s see what he can pull off,” she added.

“It would be lovely to have some time away together before I go back to work in a few weeks – Pete’s been working so much recently that I’ve barely seen him.”

The lucky couple are only just home from a family holiday in Spain. Jealous.

They enjoyed a break in the sunshine with Amelia, Theo and Peter’s children from his marriage to ex-wife Katie Price: Junior, 12, and Princess, ten.

And another holiday could be on the cards, too.

Well, for Emily, not so much Pete!

Writing in his New magazine column, popstar Pete said he has a gig lined up in Dubai later this year and he wants Em to tag along with him.

“I’m performing in Dubai soon and I can’t wait!” he said.

“I’m trying to arrange for Emily to come with me but she won’t want to leave the kids so I just need to work something out.”

What jet-setters.
