Little Mix star, Perrie Edwards, has sent a heartfelt message to her fans, after being admitted to hospital on Sunday, moments before she was due to perform with the other girls.
Pezza and the rest of the Mixers were due to appear on stage in Las Vegas when the blonde singer was taken ill, forcing the others to perform as a trio.
She reportedly was struck down with a gastric problem, just before taking to the stage at the Daytime Village Capital One 2017 event.
In a cute message to fans posted from the band’s Twitter account, Perrie wrote: “Hello beautiful babas.. I’m out of hospital… in my own bed, and on the mend.
“Thanks to mother goose, nurse sam, and doctor hatchi I should be fine in no time[sic].”
She added: “Sorry to have let you all down, I obv would never want to miss anything but sometimes you have to listen to those who know best and I wasn’t fit to perform [sic].”
She then went on to thank the staff at the Sunrise Hospial in Vegas for looking after her, before signing off: “My babas I love you all to the moon and back perrie <3”
A Little Mix spokesperson told the MailOnline: “Perrie was taken ill overnight and had to go to hospital with gastric problem.
“She saw a doctor and was sadly unable to perform.”
Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock took to the stage at the Daytime Village 2017 Capital One gig in Las Vegas as a trio.
Perrie’s fans had been flooding Perrie’s Instagram with messages. “Get well soon baby girl,” wrote one. “I love you to the moon and back.”
“Get well soon queen!” wrote another.
The news comes amid speculation that Perrie’s relationship with footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is under strain now that he has moved to Liverpool
She defiantly shared an Instagram pic of the pair in Liverpool together last week.
Alex also recently shared a loved up pic of the couple. “I tell her she my bestie, bestie, she my bestie,” he wrote on Instagram.
Perrie is based in London and isn’t worried about having a long-distance relationship.
“I don’t think it will be difficult,” she said The Mirror.
“It’s going to be different – but that’s not a problem.
“We’ll be fine. I’m just really happy for him and very proud.”
They first started dating in November 2016, but went public with their relationship in January 2017.
Perrie’s previous boyfriends include Zayn Malik and Luke Pasqualino.
