Paddy McGuinness is a familiar face on our TV screens and now it seems his wife, Christine, wants her own slice of fame.
The 29-year-old mum-of-three has filmed scenes for the new series of The Real Housewives of Cheshire.
The news comes as the couple’s relationship has been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons recently after Paddy, 44, was seen out partying with Nicole Appleton, 43.
According The Sun, it’s this “betrayal” that swung Christine’s decision to allow cameras into their lives.
Their source said: “Christine has been given the chance to be in the spotlight. She has been through a tough time since feeling betrayed by Paddy and is looking forward to having a new focus.”
The model has already filmed her scenes for the new series which returns to ITVBe later this month.
Take Me Out host Paddy hit the headlines after he was spotted exiting a London bar with his arms linked with the former All Saints singer last month.
Christine, with whom he has twins Penelope and Leo, aged four, and one-year-old Felicity, was at home in Cheshire at the time.
The couple are said to have had some “very heated and emotional arguments” since but The Sun On Sunday reported they have reconciled after the TV presenter convinced his wife the night out was innocent.
Neither Paddy or Christine have publicly commented on the incident.
The fly-on-the-wall show follows the glamorous lives of affluent women, including WAGs Tanya Bardsley and Leanne Brown, in the so called “Golden Triangle of Cheshire”.
An ITV spokeswoman has confirmed series seven will air in March.
“Friends and familiar faces will be popping up along the way,” they said.
