Married to wife Christine, the couple is parents to three-year-old Felicity and five-year-old twins Penelope and Leo.

But they have decided three is enough.

After the procedure, Paddy posted a video telling his 1.1million followers that it was a “doddle” despite a few “eye-watering” moments.

He said: “Patient McGuinness is home. Gentlemen, if you’re thinking about having a vastectomy and are a little bit reluctant, as I was, the initial anaesthetic, what they give you into the ol’ pippins, I’m not gonna lie, that’s tender.

“It made my eyes water a little bit.

“But after that, honestly, it’s a doddle. I’m currently resting up at home with a towel full of ice on the old nicky nacky noos. But I’ll keep you up to speed.”

Recently, Paddy opened up about the family’s struggles with autism.

When twins were Penelope and Leo were three-and-a-half years old, they were referred to a paediatrician because they were both delayed in speaking – and that’s when the pair were told they had autism.

Felicity has also shown signs of the condition.

Paddy told the Mirror: “With autism you can feel as though you’re on your own, the world is against you. You’re like, ‘God, everyone else has got it easy’. There’s lots of things we can’t do – we can’t even go on a family holiday together.”
