Love Island: As Georgia and Sam exit, fans rage over Josh “pulling faces”

Uh oh, Josh is in trouble with the viewers...

Viewers of Thursday’s Love Island have taken to Twitter to rage about Josh Denzel’s reaction to two islanders quitting the show.

Fans were sad to see Georgia Steel and Sam Bird leave the villa during the episode – and were furious about Josh pulling faces.

Josh – who was previously coupled up with Georgia – was seen covering his mouth and shaking his head as Sam made his exit speech.

He then looked like he was smiling and trying not to laugh as Georgia stood up.

One viewer tweeted: “I’m 100% not here for Josh’s faces every time Georgia speaks or does something, you’ve moved on with Kaz, what is your issue ? #loveisland”.

Another added: “Why does old Josh keep pulling faces like its [bleeping] crazy that Sam actually likes Georgia enough to leave the villa and vice versa?

A fourth fan wrote: “The difference between Josh’s nasty facial expressions during Sam and Georgia’s speeches and then Georgia’s happy face during Josh’s speech says it all.

“He can’t stand to see her happy🙄👋 #loveisland”. It was ‘liked’ over 13,000 times.

It came after love birds Sam and Georgia left the show, after being forced to uncouple.

Initially the pair decided to split up, so they could stay in the villa and remain in the running for the show’s £50,000 cash prize.

But during Thursday’s show, they changed their minds, with Josh admitting he hadn’t realised how strong his feelings were.

He said: “I want to stay here, but I want to stay here and be with Georgia, so I don’t know what to do.”

They later stood up in front of the other contestants to confirm they were leaving together, with Sam saying: “I feel like Georgia is the person I want to be with, I am falling for her.

“That being said, I actually refuse to re-couple and if that means I have to leave the villa, I will.”

Georgia agreed, saying: “I want to re-couple with Sam inside or outside the villa, whatever that might be.”

They then kissed, with Georgia saying: “I’m so happy.”

Their departure comes after the former couple flouted the rules by sharing a kiss, when they were supposed to be putting their efforts into recoupling with new contestants.

On Wednesday night’s episode, Georgia was sunbathing with best pal Dani Dyer, when she revealed she shared a smooch with Sam the previous night.

The night before, Georgia and Sam had expressed their frustration at living together, but not as a couple.
