Loyal Directioners have been gushing over a rare picture of Freddie posted to Instagram by the little boy’s mum, Briana Jungwirth.

In the sunny snap, little Freddie – who lives in Los Angeles with Briana – looks adorable in grey tracksuit bottoms and a matching T-shirts.
He stares straight at the camera while proud mum Briana crouches down to keep a protective hold of her son.
Naturally, 1D fans have gone into a bit of a meltdown about just how ridiculously adorable Freddie is, flooding Briana’s account with compliments.
One told her: “You and Freddie both are looking so cute together and Freddie has grown too fast and became a handsome boy.”
Another said: “How come he’s already this grown up? Time does fly, man! He’s absolutely gorgeous, Brianna! Much love to you both.”
A third joked: “Our baby is growing up! Ah! Thank you for allowing us to watch your baby grow up!”
Other fans were amazed at the resemblance between Freddie and his famous dad, with one saying: “He’s even doing the same pose his daddy does!”

Louis, who is no longer romantically involved with stylist Briana, has often spoken out about his love of fatherhood and the joy Freddie brings to his life.

During an appearance on America’s Got Talent, he gushed: “I didn’t think I’d be having a kid at this age, but it is incredible!”
As for whether he wants Freddie to follow in his musical footsteps, he told People: “Those decisions are down to him when he’s old enough. He can do whatever he wants.”
Meanwhile, fellow One Direction star Liam Payne is also a dad, welcoming son Bear with girlfriend Cheryl in March.
