Olly Murs apologises for foul-mouthed rant at football match

He was having an off day

Sometimes we can get so carried away when we’re caught up in a footie match.

So you can see why pop star Olly Murs was getting so aggie recently during a match at the stadium in Macedonia’s capital Skopje.

At the recent Super Cup final, the Essex boy got himself, er, proper wound up as he watched his team Man U lose to Real Madrid.

Emotions were running high so much during the tense match, that the normally happy chappy spent much of the match effing and blinding!

In fact, according to the Sun, the Troublemaker singer said the F-word and C-word around 40 times in the first half alone. (Nice to see someone was counting!)

At one point, the revved up fella even turned on one of his mates and had to be restrained, apparently.

An eyewitness told The Sun: “Another man also told him to calm down but Olly kept telling him to eff off and leave him alone.”

He added: “I’m a fan of Olly Murs but he was hardly a celebrity ambassador for his club here.”

Slightly embarrassed about his outburst, Olly has now apologised for his behaviour.

“I was away with a group of lads and go carried away,” he explained.

“It was out of character. I apologise to anyone I offended.”

Seemingly alcohol had been partly responsible for his tirade as the next day he posted a pic of himself shades, commenting he had  a “hangover from hell” and captioned, “Broken man. Team lost, head lost.”
