Nick Knowles’ estranged wife Jessica Moor ‘wants £2k extra a month on top of £48k a year’

Nick has vehemently denied Jessica's allegations of 'emotional cruelty'

BBC presenter Nick Knowles’ estranged wife, Jessica Rose More is allegedly requesting an extra £2,000 per month from her former husband.

According to The Sun, she already receives more than £48,000 per year from the DIY SOS star but has now reportedly asked for more money to cover their son Eddie’s school fees.

This latest report comes after Nick vehemently denied Jessica’s allegations of “emotional cruelty” following her very public Twitter accusations against him on Friday.

A source told The Sun: “Nick is distraught that Jessica has made these claims. She already gets £4,000 a month from him and he’s funded her life for years.

“Pals say no official abuse complaint has been made.”

The insider added that Nick has said he will pay Eddie’s tuition fees directly to the school.

It’s just the latest twist in the couple’s increasingly bitter split, which included Jessica, 30, posting a further accusation about Nick, 55, to Twitter in the early hours of Monday morning.

She wrote: “Nick may be intelligent but he is not smart. He is now denying that he withdrew his promise to send Eddie to private school but it was sent by his solicitor to mine.

“He has also denied years of cruelty but I do have diaries and photographic proof.

She went on to claim: “All I want is for him to keep all the promises he made to me and Eddie when he walked out of our lives to have a string of girlfriends, after abandoning us in Spain.

“If he does not keep his promises my only option (since I can’t afford to fight it legally – which he knows) is to publish all that I have including witness statements because at that point I will have nothing to lose.”

This latest note came after Jessica posted “an open letter about my divorce” last Friday, adding: “It takes a lot to break me, but he’s done it.”

In the outpouring, Jessica wrote: “It has been long agreed by my (soon to be ex) husband that Eddie would be privately educated — a luxury he is in the position to afford, as he has done for all his other children.

“As such, Eddie is enrolled to start private school this September (a school that me and my husband visited and chose together) except that he won’t, as I was advised by my husband’s solicitor that this promise has been withdrawn.

She alleged: “After years of intimidation, emotional cruelty, abuse and eventually isolation (that I have kept silent about — of which I have diaries and images), this is the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

On Sunday Nick’s rep firmly denied Jessica’s claims, telling The Mirror: “These allegations are not true but Nick will not be responding publicly in an attempt to minimise the negative impact on his son.”

Nick’s representatives told Entertainment Daily! of these latest allegations: “We don’t have any comment to make on this.”

We were unable to contact Jessica.

The pair split in January 2016, after three years of marriage, but remained on good terms.

When Jessica was diagnosed with cervical cancer in July 2016, Nick tweeted his support and the pair reunited, only to split again in December. But they seemed to keep things very friendly.

Writing for Hello magazine in November, Jessica described spending the day with her ex.

She wrote: “As I write this I have just had the most wonderful day at Leeds Castle watching the fireworks with Nick and Eddie.

“Despite our circumstances being very different from when I began writing the blog we remain friends.”

And in November, Nick appeared on Lorraine Kelly’s ITV show where he insisted: “[I have] a fantastic relationship [with her]. I can’t say enough about Jess. She’s the most amazing, amazing mum. She’s the most amazingly calm human being.”

It follows reports that the pair even spent Christmas together, along with Jessica’s new partner.
