Gemma Atkinson recently welcomed a baby daughter with boyfriend Gorka Marquez.
On Thursday, the former Emmerdale actress shared a sweet snap of herself hours after her waters broke.
The photo shows Gemma, 34, sitting on the floor wearing a dressing gown as her two dogs Norman and Olly cuddled up to her.

Gemma captioned the post: “Gorks took this picture a few hours after my waters had broke. They didn’t leave my side, they were totally aware little sister was on her way.”
Fans gushed over the candid picture, with one person writing: “This is so cute!!! How dogs/pets can sense that something is wrong.”
Another said: “You look amazingly smiley and calm, lovely picture,” while a third commented: “That’s so adorable. You and Gorka will be fantastic parents and with the most attentive siblings.”
Gemma and Strictly Come Dancing pro Gorka welcomed their little girl last Thursday (July 4).
Alongside a photo of himself and Gemma, Gorka wrote: “The last pic before we became three. Our beautiful baby daughter arrived on Thursday 4th July and myself and Gem couldn’t be happier.
“She’s incredible and she certainly made an entrance, giving us all quite a fright at times. @glouiseatkinson my absolute HERO!
“After seeing you go through all you did to bring our little girl to life has made me love and respect you even more.
“What a trooper you are. I couldn’t be more proud of you!! Thank you SO much to the nurses & doctors at The Royal Bolton Hospital who did the most incredible job taking care of Gem and our baby. Back home now for family time.”
Gemma wrote on her own Instagram: “And just like that, we’re a three!
“Thank you SO much to the nurses & doctors at The Royal Bolton Hospital who did the most incredible job taking care of myself and my baby.
“Back home now for family time and to introduce little lady to her big brothers Norman & Ollie…. Let the next life chapter begin @gorka_marquez.”
Since the arrival of their little girl, Gemma and Gorka have chosen not to share any photos of the newborn on social media yet.

Earlier this week, new mum Gemma explained their decision saying that she and Gorka want to have some privacy with their baby girl first.
She wrote on her Instagram Stories: “We just want all our family and friends to come over and meet her first that’s all. It’s important for me that they all get a hold and a cuddle first.”
