The star of shock doc My 600lb Life has died at the age of 29.

Sean Milliken passed away on Sunday, his father Matt announced on social media.

He wrote on Facebook: “Sunday he was having problems with his breathing, they were able to resuscitate him and a short time later his heart stopped. ”

He added his son was a “good man” with a “good heart”, according to People magazine.

Sean suffered complications following an infection.

The young man was the subject of TLC’s reality show in 2016, and spoke of his fears that he would not live to see 30 due to his size.

He also shared his hopes from weight loss surgery, as he and his mum moved to Houston.

But he was apprehensive, explaining to cameras: “I’m not 100 percent certain this is the right decision to make.

“I am extremely nervous about this trip. It’s going to take anywhere from 30 to 40 hours to drive there. I’m very worried about that.

“If I fall, we won’t be near the hospital for people to pick me up.”

Before featuring in the programme he had already lost 300lbs – at one stage he was 64 stone and unable to stand for 30 seconds.

He revealed: “Every day I wake up I have to face the reality of what my life has become.”

Sean was so big that he couldn’t use a toilet and had to use a bucket at the end of his bed.

“I am so big now; I can hardly move,” he explained.

“I can get up, but I can only walk a few steps, so I just stay here in this bed no matter what.

“I can’t do anything for myself anymore.”

His mum passed away in 2017.

Sean revealed that he had turned to food as a comfort to escape the pain of a difficult relationship with his dad.

“It was scary. So I would eat,” he admitted. “And suddenly I felt a lot better. In that moment, nothing else mattered.”
