Michelle Keegan ‘issues Mark with five golden rules for marriage’

The couple is set to spend seven months apart this year

Our Girl actress Michelle Keegan has reportedly given hubby Mark a list of rules to abide by while she is away filming.

The brunette beauty will soon be jetting off to South Africa to film her second series of BBC One’s Our Girl.

But this means she will be thousands of miles away from her other half for SEVEN months.

According to a source, the former Corrie star has ensured Mark knows exactly where he stands by providing guidelines.

The 29-year-old has allegedly laid down five golden rules that her hubby must follow.

These are: ‘No talking to other girls’; ‘Face-timing every night’; ‘Fewer lads’ nights out’; ‘Taking the initiative more often’; ‘Staying off social media more’…

Apparently.

Filming for the action-packed drama series is expected to go on until November and the busy actress will only have five weeks’ free time during this period to spend with Mark, 30.

A source told Reveal Magazine: “This is going to be the biggest test of their marriage.

“It’s likely they’ll only be able to spend five weeks together and Michelle knows that’s no ideal.”

They continued: “She puts a very brave face on it in public but her biggest fear is that they will be living like virtual strangers.”

Despite her worries Michelle is definitely excited to be starring in the successful series once again saying she’s “really looking forward to getting back on set”.

Last year the media personalities’ marriage came under scrutiny but the defiant actress was determined to slam the critics.

The star tweeted: “Blah blah blah… so boring. I work on camera, so I take the ring off and put it somewhere safe. Simple!”

An insider revealed: “Michelle’s been really proactive in putting her marriage in the best possible position before her long filming shift begins.

“She’s really determined to learn from the pressures and pain that were caused last year.”

We’re sure those five golden rules will do just the job!
