Michael Buble’s wife reveals why she flew sick son to America without telling her husband

Their son was diagnosed with cancer late last year

Michael Buble’s wife Luisana Lopilato has revealed she flew her sick son, Noah, to the States without telling the singer.

The model admits she was so worried about the three-year-old’s health that she booked a flight to the US and was unable to get hold of Michael to let him know.

Noah was diagnosed with cancer in November 2016.

Last year the couple were told that little Noah had an infection and he was given antibiotics.

But doctors suggested that Noah should have an ultrasound which found “something” in his stomach.

The singer’s wife then decided that day to fly to the US where he was then diagnosed with cancer.

Speaking in a TV interview at her home in Vancouver, Luisana revealed: “Mike wasn’t with me. He was just about to do a very important interview in England and I couldn’t get hold of him on the phone.

“So the day I found out Noah had something in his stomach and doctors didn’t really know what it was and whether it might be a tumour, I got a flight to the States.

“I got on a flight there that same night with just a small suitcase and without speaking to my husband.”

The actress went on to reveal that her and Michael “dropped everything” they were doing to look after their tot.

She added: “Thank God the worst is over but this is a long and ongoing process.”

Thankfully, Noah was cleared earlier this year following successful treatment in Los Angeles.

Michael, 41, recently spoke at the National Arts Centre Awards about the awful time. He said: “My entire life has been inspired by how my family has made me feel.

“My wife, my children, my parents, my sisters, my manager Bruce Allen, who are all here tonight.

“There are no words to describe how I feel about you.

“Sometimes ‘I love you’ just isn’t enough because what I feel is just so much more.”

Thanking his fans for their support, he said: “I stand here truly humbled that I have been allowed to be one of your musical representatives and that you would choose to bestow this honour upon me during what has been an emotional and difficult time for my family.”

During a press conference in April for Luisana’s upcoming movie Los Que Aman, Odian, she said: “Thank God, my son is well. When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes.

“It happened to us. Now I value life much more, the now and the today.

“I would like to thank people for their support, for the prayers they said, for their love.”

Earlier this month 30-year-old Luisana shared a beautiful black and white photo of her two sons.

The couple have kept their children out of the limelight during the terrible time and this was the first snap of little Noah as he recovers from the disease.

The gorgeous pic shows her cuddling their youngest son Elias, 18 months, while three-year-old Noah lies next to them as the mum holds his foot.

Alongside the precious photo she wrote: “El tiempo se detiene… no hay nada como los mimos de mama!! #❤️#tothemoonandback #familyfirst.”

In English, it means: “Time stops… there’s nothing like a mother’s pampering.”
