Michael Bublé says son is a ‘fighter’ as they vow to stay positive

His three-year-old has been diagnosed with cancer

Canadian singer Michael Bublé has spoken out about the determination that he and wife Luisana Lopilato have after their three-year-old son Noah was diagnosed with cancer.

Michael has apparently told friends that they are “sad but hopeful” about Noah fighting his illness and they are remaining positive for the future.

Speaking to Us Weekly, an insider said: “They are really sad but hopeful. They immediately got him very good care and they are hoping and praying for the best.

“They are getting him the best doctors around. It’s really heartbreaking. This was a real shock, but they are doing everything they can.

“They’re staying positive and Noah is a fighter.”

The singer said they have a “a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”

Michael has previously posted pictures of Noah and his younger son Elias on Instagram.

Last year Noah suffered serious burns in an accident at home.

Meanwhile, French chef Jean-Christophe Novelli’s newborn baby has also been diagnosed with cancer.

The eight-week-old is suffering from Neuroblastoma and undergoing treatment in hospital, according to Hello! Magazine.

Jean-Christophe and his fiancee, Michelle Kennedy, welcomed their little boy in September, naming him Valentino Louis.

The couple also have an eight-year-old son named Jean.

A spokesperson for the star said: “Jean-Christophe’s priority at this time is supporting his family as they deal with this devastating news, it is still very early days but they remain positive and believe the NHS experts are doing everything possible.

“Jean has had to postpone all his immediate work over the next two weeks to be with his baby and support his family but is grateful for the understanding and support during this very difficult time.
