Mel Gibson is going to be a dad…for the NINTH time!

Aussie actor is expecting a baby with his girlfriend

Mel Gibson must love changing nappies. The Lethal Weapon star is going to become a dad again for the NINETH time.

The 60-year-old Aussie actor is having a baby with his girlfriend of two years, Rosalind Ross.

It will be their first child together.

A friend of the couple reportedly told People magazine: “Mel and Rose are so excited about the baby.

“Mel loves being a dad and he and Rose can’t wait to be parents together. The last two years have been some of his happiest years he’s ever had.”

Gibson already has eight children – seven with his ex-wife Robyn Moore and a daughter with his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

Ross, 25, is an aspiring filmmaker and a champion equestrian vaulter.

Gibson became a Hollywood pariah after a series of controversies including a drink driving arrest, domestic abuse allegations and making racist and anti-Semitic comments.

But the Oscar winner is said to be on the brink of a comeback. He directed the new Andrew Garfield movie, Hacksaw Ridge, a World War II drama.

Gibson is not the only celebrity who is experiencing fatherhood when many people their age are collecting their pensions.

This summer Mick Jagger, 73, revealed he was going to become a dad for the eighth time. The Rolling Stone is also a grandfather and great-grandfather.

His band mate Ronnie Wood, 69, is elbow-deep in nappies again after his wife, Sally, gave birth to twin baby girls earlier this year.

And in 2015 actor Jeff Goldblum, 63, became a father for the first time when his third wife, Emilie, gave birth to their son Ocean.
